Deleting your Magisto account will delete all of the information associated with the account (videos, order history, business information, etc.).
If you would like to delete your Magisto account, you can do so through your account’s settings. Users who have created their accounts through Facebook and Google must follow another set of instructions and set a custom password before they can delete their account.
This password allows you to complete the password completion step in the process.
NOTE: Uninstalling the app or deleting your Magisto account will not automatically stop your subscription. You must cancel your subscription to end the subscription.
For users signed up with their e-mail address
- From the Homepage, tap the Profile icon.
- Tap the Settings icon in the top panel.
- Tap Settings > Change Personal Info > Delete Account.
- Tap “Proceed” to confirm.
For users signed up using Facebook or Google
When signing up using Facebook or Google, Magisto receives an authorization (token) from Facebook/Google. This allows you to create an account without the need of setting up a password. However, as the password is required to delete the account - you will need to create a password in order to proceed:
- From the Homepage, tap the Profile icon.
- Tap the Settings icon in the top panel.
- Tap on “Change Password” and then “Forgot your password?”.
- Enter the email address that is used to log into your Facebook or Google account and tap “Next”.
NOTE: The following steps MUST be done on your computer
- Open the email sent to your account and follow the steps to set your custom Magisto password. (If you can’t find the email make sure to check all tabs and spam folders)
- Now that your password has been created, you can proceed to delete your account.
- From the Homepage, click on your account photo in the top-right corner of the page.
- Click “Settings”
- Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page and find the section titled “Need Help?”.
- Click “Delete Account”.
- Enter your custom password and click “Yes, Delete It” to confirm.
