You will now be asked to select the photos and video clips you want to include in your video. Magisto automatically scans and detects the media located in your phone’s storage and sorts in chronological order. You should note that due to the automated creation process and time constraints - not all of your selected footage will appear in the finished video (yet you can always re-add them during the editing process - Premium, Professional and Business subscribers).
Additionally - your footage will be mixed and the upload order will not be the order of your footage in the generated video.
Magisto supports all formats that are "natively" supported by iOS, Android and Windows OS:
Photo file types: JPG, JPEG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, PNG
Video file types: 3GP, AVI, MOV, MP4, MPG, MTS, M2TS
On iOS devices:
1. The "Photos" tab will display the photos and video clips that Magisto has located on your phone’s storage. All you have to do is tap the photos or video clips you wish to add to your video. You can also select photos and video clips from your Google Photos account, use the Recent tab (available on the Premium, Professional and Business plans) to access all video clips and photos that you previously uploaded to Magisto, or use the iStock tab (available on the Professional and Business plan) to access our stock footage library (over 3 million stock videos, and 25 million premium quality stock photos).
2. Select the photos and video clips that you want to include in your video; those will be marked with a green check, and will be shown on the bottom drawer.
3. Tapping on the Reorder button (for Premium, Professional and Business subscribers) will allow you to manually set the order of the footage in your video result. If the order option is set to Magisto - our AI will automatically order the footage based on predefined parameters (chronological order based on the timestamp stored in the files metadata). If you choose to set the order manually - you will be able to reorder the footage manually by dragging and dropping the items:
4. After selecting your footage, tap “Next” to finalize your choices and to move onto the Soundtrack selection.
NOTE: Only photos and video clips that have been downloaded to your phone’s local storage can be used to create your video.
