Video quality per subscription:
Premium, Professional and Business users can download videos up to 1080p resolution (Currently via our website and 720p on mobile) , while basic users can download videos in SD quality.
Important things to notice:
1) "Draft" mode - when your video is created by Magisto, it is initially in a "draft" state. This state allows you to adjust and edit your video (Professional and Business subscribers only). As long as your video is in "Draft" state - it will not preview in the highest possible resolution.
2) Footage used in your videos - make sure you use high resolution footage (photos and video clips). If you use 640x480 (480p SD) resolution footage in your video, for instance - Magisto will only be able to create a 640x480 (480p SD) video result.
Mobile devices:
When creating your video with your mobile device - your footage is transcoded (compressed) to ensure consistent quality throughout.
To create the highest quality version of your video, you would need to download it using the same device you used for creating the video. This would initiate a process that will re-upload your raw footage without compression, so that you can download it to your device.
Once the download process is completed, you will have the highest resolution version (depending on the footage quality you used in your video) of your video available on your device for playback.
Website:
When creating your video using Magisto's website - your footage is uploaded without any compression, so the video result should comply with the quality supported by your subscription.
